This week long camp will cover basic stringing and finishing techniques, needleweaving jewelry and basic wire wrapping.  Campers will make a bracelet, illusion necklace, daisy chain anklet, and earrings or an additional bracelet.  We supply the materials and fun, and you supply the eager camper!

If your child likes trying something new and different, this is the camp for her/him!  We will teach a different needle art technique each day of the week.  Topics covered include punch needle, needle felting, needlepoint, cross stitch and Bargello.  Campers will go home with a finished project each day, a new skill for future projects, and a thirst for more!

This camp will focus solely on needlepoint.  Campers will learn how to do start and end stitching and the basic continental stitch, as well as a variety of fancy stitches like Hungarian, baloon and many more.  A beautiful sampler will be compeleted that will be suitable for finishing as a pillow top or for framing.  This is a great camp for those who like to concentrate on one topic and learn it thoroughly.  Camplers will be encouraged to make choices about colors and fibers.  Everyone will leave with their own unique version of the design and the confidence to keep on stitching.
